At Medicare we specialise in providing highly skilled and qualified medics for television and film productions , our medics have vast experience and most also work on the front line 999 on a daily basis dealing with and responding to many different incidents giving them the most up-to-date knowledge and training.

We can also supply medics with a fully equipped Ambulance as a treatment centre.

Our TV / Film Medics are all trained to provide pre-hospital care from basic first aid and beyond which can include, but is not limited to:

Casualty Observations
(Blood pressure, blood glucose, temperature, pulse oximetry)

Airway management
(postural, supraglottic, nasal and oropharyngealairways)

Haemorrhage control
(Tourniquet, wound packing, bandaging, and the use ofhaemostatic gauze)

Defibrillation

Emergency oxygen and pain relief
(Oxygen, Entonox and penthrox)

Exposure
(hypothermia and heatstroke)

Trauma care
(fracture management and immobilisation, head and spinal injuries)
